For me, it’s the beauty of connection. It’s the nostalgia of my mother’s 35 mm film from my childhood. It’s that I know my memory is unreliable and I want to know this big, vast beautiful life I get to live. It’s having a vessel for all of these wild human emotions to exist in.
My reasons don’t have to be the same as yours. And I hope they aren’t. Variety makes life exciting. But I hope you take the time to consider what it really means to you to have these moments of your life documented.
